Epilogue
Alright, I just wanted to take this opportunity to eliminate some discrepancies in the comic.
On page 2 it shows the tRNA go through the Splisosome, however, not all tRNA molecules are required to pass through the Splisosome, so we must deduce, that due to the prevalence of the aforementioned process, this must be a Eukaryotic cell.
In the comic, in several different locations, it shows the rRNA detaching from the mRNA and moving to the next site in the ribosome, this is not actually how it works, and was only altered due to a temporary lapse in memory, and for artistic convenience, in reality the tRNA remains attached to the mRNA and the entire structure moves through the ribosome without breaking and reforming bonds between codons frequently.
Another point that was not properly addressed was the formation of the ribosome around the mRNA, a brief explanation is this: the large sub-unit and small sub-unit that were previously separated now for around the mRNA strand to create one whole ribosome.
