Cartoons

I got to watch Invader Zim and Clone High recently (both on reccomendation). And I thoroughly enjoyed them ^^ I especially appreciate how invader Zim is put together and am rather disappointed that it got syndicated. The ideas are so well portrayed, and even better, the creators broke out of the typical cartoon rudiments and centered the program around the antagonist rather than the protagonist. I myself have been considering doing a comic in that style, however already two highly popular stories have been published with my idea, ah well, both Death Note and Invader Zim were produced and carried out with a vast amount beauty, tact and talent that I could have never put out. So I revere the creators of these works.

On the topic of Clone High, I don't appreciate it nearly as much as Invader Zim, mostly because the originality isn't there, apart from the very basis of the show, a school filled with clones of historical figures. A very cute and novel idea, however the program was executed just as every other teen cartoon has been executed – a predictable love triangle. However, it's not all bad, many of the jokes are hilarious and many of the characters do have a certain amount of depth that other cartoons lack. But again, the show is riddled with the corrupt American doctrines and philosophies that I so strongly disagree with. So I don't enjoy it nearly as much as my out of the ordinary Invader Zim. However both of these cartoons earn a nice room in my memory, perhaps with a pleasantly stunning view of my medulla.

Excuse the lack of flow in my rant, however, I'm a bit tired at the moment and half of my brain is being filled with the amazingly melodic sounds of Rammstein's overflowing talent. Now I desperately feel the need to speak on the topic of my love for children's cartoons. I have always found that apart from anime and the sort children's cartoons would be my second choice of something to watch, nothing like the Simpsons, or Futurama (though they can be quite funny at times, the latter more than the former) more along the lines of say, Reboot, Fairly Oddparents, and other such youth television programs. Now before you think too hard on this subject I will lay out the facts.

Yes; I am aware that these programs are aimed at 8-13 year olds, however, I find that for relaxing or killing time they are so wonderful to watch, simply because they are so incredibly simple, the plot lines are straightforward, their blatant disregard for the laws of physics is delightful and the imagination is nothing less than exquisite. And the best part of all, I don't feel as if rotten idea's are being thrust upon me, such as they are in modern movies, most live action sit com's, and especially the news, whose sole purpose is to make one think a certain way and to instill fear into the general populous. I do hate the news, the only good things are the cartoons, and the occasionally humorous bit of verbal diarrhea that bush spews out on a regular basis. All in all, I like cartoons, music and not Americans.
