Placebo is a collection of mini comics centering around four characters; Senna, Kazuki, Noa and Fukui. Kazuki being the somewhat reclusive and paranoid hasn't told the other characters what his actual job is, they only know that it's something to do with the government, and probably quite dangerous. For this reason he has hired Senna as a live in bodyguard. Over time, Kazuki hired Fukui as his medic and Noa as a housekeeper. The comics contain a bunch of silly misadventures shared by the group.
